Exclusive: Dark forces trying to undermine India’s 2036 Olympic bid
India seems to be well on the path to being awarded the 2030 Commonwealth Games but its Olympic campaign is being subjected to pressure after an anonymous report was circulated citing a list of issues
A document outlining the challenges that India would face if it were awarded the 2036 Olympic Games is being secretly circulated in an attempt to undermine the country’s bid, the Zeus Files can exclusively reveal.
The 34-page report has been sent anonymously to several International Olympic Committee members and includes 31 headings, ranging from the caste system, the India-Pakistan conflict, female sexual violence and harassment to violence on tourists, traffic congestion, air pollution and food safety.
The dirty tricks campaign has been launched just as India seems set to complete the first part of its major events strategy by being awarded the 2030 Commonwealth Games, with a special meeting today having officially approved its bid.
